It's a beautiful morning and one that I thought I would share with you wherever you are in the world.

Crime here is relatively low but there are a number of opportunist thefts that plague the town now and again. In Spain there are two dominant providers; Prosegur and Securitas Direct. Both have similar systems but there are some notable differences. Prosegur use wifi connections and the hub is plugged directly into an electrical socket whereas Securitas Direct offer a portable base unit that can change location and is connected to an online frequency band. Both these systems are connected to a control and monitoring station so it won't just sound for a neighbour to be alerted. Both smart hubs allow for direct communication too so if you are on your own, you don't need to worry. There is an English speaking department and the installers speak English too. Both companies have a price for installation and a cost per month which ranges from 34€ to 55€ depending on the number of sensors you need. Welcome to our first blog entry, long may it continue. I wanted to create a blog which will be informative and give an insight into the local area in all it's glory. There will be some advertising elements along with the entries so if you don't like it just look away. To those of you who don’t know, this may spark some interesting coffee talk. With a budget of 100 million dollars they searched high and low for a set that could fit the spec.
