El Carmoli Bali Meets The Mar Menor Sounds like something out of a western and you could be led to believe that it has been. An extinct Volcano sitting on the coastal road not more than 8 Km away from Los Alcázares. The area itself was once a military zone, sounds attractive right? With a runway an aircraft hanger and 11 hectares of protected environmental land it sets the scene for the feeling that your inland but your definitely not. You approach the hanger at the end of the most wonderful coastal drive at a snails pace because everyone is busy taking in that special view we have all grown to love. The mountain has two immediate roads, one of them will take you up to the top of the mountain and the other along the side. In the middle of the mountain sits a Restaurant which I might add has been owned for over 35 years by the same owners. Of French origin it offers an international menu that suits all tastes.
