One of my friends has an interesting hobby; "Paramotor". I have had the pleasure of riding a dirtbike with him around the old mines in El Algar but I drew the line with this one. I hope you enjoy this video, it does show off the area really well.

If you can't get to see Murcia City which is something we all should do at some point whether you live here or are just visiting, this is the next best thing. He did a good job of showing us around the streets and it's worth watching.

I saw this video as it made the rounds online last year. A shark was filmed in the Port of Cartagena. There is no need to worry, it's extremely rare.

Nothing wrong with a little bit of self-promotion from time to time. I am on the lookout for people who have an interesting and diverse background with a story to tell. My interest outside of work is writing and I published my first novel; "Dreamstones" in America in 2011.  The original cover was designed by; Pink Frog in a UK studio but was changed by publisher recommendation to the image below. The book itself was inspired by my daughter who had trouble sleeping. I was fortunate to have Amazon, Waterstones, iBooks and W.H.Smiths on my side at the launch and it opened so many doors for me personally. Today I continue to write when time allows with a second novel being penned. The title; "ZANA" is only a holding one and it still needs a publisher to progress it to the next stage. "I need an extra hour in every day" I have now kept this blog just to help promote members of the community who have interesting stories to share. Thanks

Ever looked out towards that Manhattan scene just across the pond? Yes, that forms that lovely blend of mountains, buildings and sea. I think this video although somewhat dated gives us an indication of just what it's like on the other side. 18km of roads, infrastructure, shops, bars and restaurants you would be surprised just how many people live there on and offseason. The Oasis has its own unique charm that people have grown so fond of. It was an average Tuesday morning, trying to find a parking space on a market day was proving to be more challenging than I thought it would be. Coffee was a ritual performed daily, once again I stood in line listening to a multitude of different languages waiting for my reward. As I was handed my first coffee of the day, life seemed to be more than balanced once again. As pleasantries were exchanged, I managed to find a seat and sipped my coffee whilst browsing a local newspaper. There was no rush to open up the office as I had cleaned up and prepared for my morning meeting the previous day.
