Most tourists and residents overlook this part of town, compelled to tell you that all that it's a very magical place which has it's own charm and appeal. Well before the street behind the Mercadona took pole position as the hub for tourists it boasted an extremely high foot flow.
The crisis was one factor that tried to seal it's fate and for many years it put up a very good fight in terms of commercial draw. Over the last few years three main commercial anchors have appeared.
Elite Moda
High street fashion which is affiliated to a chain in Spain and has a strong reputation for offering a good standard of service, competitive prices and of course quality. I have provided a link to their Facebook page which will give a better indication of the clothing range and accessories.
Hotel Encarnacion
You may have seen a few places on your trips around the world but nothing quiet like this. A listed and protected building on the beach front of Los Alcázares which has a courtyard themed like your sitting in a Forest. Charming and with a beach front terrace it should be on your list of things to do whether you live here or just visiting.
Here is a link to their Facebook page.
Although the I have highlighted three businesses, there are others that are worthy of a mention such as La Tropical Restaurant which serves the most amazing tapas and has a very well established clientele.
Don't be afraid to take a Taxi, it's cheaper than renting a car and will give you access to other parts of the town that you wouldn't normally experience.
There is a large Taxi rank opposite the 525 Hotel or you can organise a Taxi directly from your smart phone but make sure you have a good and easily assessable pick up point.
This is a great link that I found which will provide you with information about the Murcia region, it has some very useful information. Well that concludes this post, please remember to share, join or comment, thanks for reading and see you next time.
